"To be a great discoverer, one must expect nothing.
Only then might someone discover something worthwhile."
My creative process is inspired by this quote. First, I empty myself of all thoughts. Then I begin to work on a new project. The process starts with a variety of colors that move me at the moment or colors that are given to me via clients. With different media, I am able to adapt a variety of shades, textures and colors that form the basis for my new creation. I call this process: conception.

As I form shapes with my fingers or tools, something happens, kind of like the first time you meet someone new. Just as a relationship develops, the painting becomes more exciting and I start to feel comfortable with this new relationship. It's like being in love and frustrated with the hope of a future, but tormented by uncertainty. Just when I feel all is lost, BAM!, a community is born. That's when the painting is finished. This is what inspires me to paint and create. So, after expecting nothing, I end up discovering a whole new world of self-expression.
